This carpet will give my students the ability to sit and listen comfortably during large group instruction. It will also bring a sense of uniformity and a bright pop of color to the classroom as a central location. A child learns well when they sit at their desk, listen, and do as they're told; however, a student learns even BETTER when they are able to gather together. Giving my students the opportunity to sit together to discuss the story we are reading, watch an educational video, or have a comfy spot to sit while they read will provide them with the necessary sense of belonging in the classroom.

About my class
