These supplies will help my students forget about what society says they lack and shift their focus to learning through different means. Most of the supplies in this project include the basic items that many students already come to school with, like pencils and scissors. But some of the supplies help them enhance and deepen their understanding. Life is colorful and all over the place, schools should be the same way! Some of the supplies in this project include things that students love like dry erase markers and sleeves, carpet squares, colorful stools, assorted pens, and colored pencils. These are tools that aid in flexible/ special seating, independent/partner practice, and memory techniques that all increase student motivation and effort.
