I have a mixture of students who all come from different backgrounds, and have different reading levels. My ultimate goal along with promoting a love for reading is promoting diversity and inclusion. Students are more likely to read a book that they can relate to the characters in it. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. I want them to be able to walk to the classroom library and know that there will always be a book to catch their eye.
