My students work very hard to understand events of the past. With a growing school and a narrowing budget my history students have had to rely largely on textbooks to access these histories. My students need tablets to take them beyond the walls of the classroom! With tablets in their hands, history can come alive for my students. These young minds will be able to explore academic websites, videos, and even visit other classrooms around the globe to learn and interpret events and ideas. Tablets will put the world in their hands and enable them to choose which path their interests will take. Beyond this, my classes host a number of students with special needs who rely on the internet to differentiate their learning and meet their needs. With tablets at their fingertips daily, my students will be able to move at their own pace and difficulty.
