By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their teacher's materials are going to work or not. In this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their desire to learn! In the last ten years of my teaching career, my laptop has only been replaced twice. Completing daily planning for 5 subjects, sending team and parent emails, facilitating and organizing team meetings, presenting assignments and PowerPoints for professional developments or student lessons, and taking online classes to further my education REALLY wore down my laptop. I am very grateful for the resources my county has given me, but I am concerned that the quality of my virtual teaching will decline due to my outdated technology. By having a monitor that can handle the wear-and-tear of over 4 and a half hours of screen-time each school day, my students will be able to avoid disruptions and focus on increasing their learning!
