With this being my first year of teaching in my own classroom, I am on a mission to build my classroom library! I want my classroom to be completely inclusive, and a diverse library will help me take a step closer to achieving this goal. Diversity should be celebrated, as should my students! Additionally, these stories will help start meaningful conversations with my students. Because my class is diverse, my students deserve to have access to literary works that make them feel heard and represented. My dream classroom library will be representative of all cultures, abilities, and more.
