My student love to read! They especially love to read in comfy pillows. It seems small, but they get even more excited to read when they can cozy up in my room with a pillow. They will come in before and after school to reserve the pillows first. I want to create an environment that gets them excited to read independently. We also go through expo markers quickly and they can be expensive to replace. They love to work on their whiteboards when doing a math problem. I love to use whiteboards so I can quickly assess them with an exit ticket throughout a lesson.
