My students can come from uncomfortable home situations and sometimes need to get creative to feel comfortable in the classroom. The flexible seating will help me encourage them to feel comfortable in the classroom. Students can own their learning when they feel excited to get going in their own way. Classroom chairs can be uncomfortable and cause students anxiety. I want my students to feel eager to start their independent work! Bouncy seats, wobble chairs, and bouncy bands will help students wiggle while they work. Yoga mats and bean bags will help students get comfortable so they can get their work done!
