Preschoolers love to play... they enjoy to play even more when water is involved! Water is a wonderful way to facilitate language as little ones can be observed talking/laughing, commenting, and asking others questions as they splash about, explore, and learn. With the change in today's toys and use of technology however, many students are struggling to build the needed hand strength and coordination needed for fine motor tasks. Knowing young children are motivated by water and play, this is a wonderful method to incorporate ways to help develop pre-writing strength using the Waterway Pipe Builders and the Wacky Water Droppers among other activities.
