By utilizing these STEM kits and books, I can create lessons that will bridge my students' learning across all subjects. Hands-on experiences will help to engage students in their learning in a new way that will help them to think beyond the classroom. After navigating learning both in person and virtually over the last year and a half, I believe these students deserve lessons that cater to the way they learn rather than them adapting to the lesson. Reading and discussing the stories will help build their reading comprehension skills. Using the kits will combine the ideas they read about with real-life experiences.
