We study 5 novels--all different genres--throughout the year: Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief; Bud, Not Buddy; Flush; World Without Fish; and Frightful's Mountain. Each book is different and we learn different skills each time we read. It is important to read both fictional and non-fictional books for all students, but especially as mine are getting ready to enter the world of junior high. These novels are used every day, and the wear and tear make for some expensive replacing on my end. Any little bit you can do to help would be MUCH APPRECIATED!
