My students, who have been consistently affected by COVID-19 with their learning, need major support to help make gains to get as close as possible to grade level. Each day, I am working individually with these students in small, targeted groups. All of these items will help address multiple needs that my students have while making learning engaging. Most of my students are struggling with basic math facts and with beginning phonic skills. By purchasing these activities(learning centers, Power Pens, prompt boxes, etc.), it'll help motivate them while keeping the learning fun. I am hoping to help the 60% of students who are below a first-grade level to reach grade-level benchmarks. Not only do I want to help my struggling students, but I want to also provide grade-level reading, writing, and math opportunities for my students on grade level. My students have seemed to have always gotten the short end of the stick, whether it is from needing to learn at home or remotely, it will be amazing to support them even more now.
