Every year I have more students who have difficulty using the traditional classroom chair. Some are diagnosed with ADHD while others just need to move in order to keep their mind focused. These students usually end up tipping in their chair which can be extremely dangerous if it suddenly slips out from under them, as has happened in my classroom. Wobble stools allow students to move in their seat safely while also providing support for their core. I have seen the benefit of this kind of stool first hand in a school where I previously taught. I also know the frustration of having kids who could greatly benefit from one of these stools but not having the funds to acquire them.
