My students are from a diverse area and have many backgrounds. I have students from crime ridden areas, and upscale areas. This creates a dynamic classroom. Many of my classes are inclusion, which contain a large number of students with IEP's or plans specifically for their needs. Technology is a wonderful tool to help bridge gaps and help these students.
