I am looking to receive donations for a classroom library. This will help improve our students literacy skills and love for reading. I can give them the opportunity to be excited about reading with your help! We are requesting a whole new classroom library - books that are on the sixth grade reading level. We are looking to purchase books such as The Hunger Games, Divergent, Diary of A Wimpy Kid, etc. These products can help provide students the ability to develop their love for reading and writing. We will be assigning each student a new book to read every month. They will be formulating a visual presentation of their readings as well as taking a test on Accelerated Reader. Also, they will be logging in a reader's notebook their understanding of characters, settings, terminology, etc. I cannot wait to get our classroom library started as well as creating a book club! Please help these wonderful students out! They are so excited! Thank you so very much for your consideration.
