The idea of bringing Morning Choice to my class happened when I saw how excited my students were when we did STEM on Fridays instead of morning work. Instead of our normal routine of having to come in silently, unpack, and be forced to complete a worksheet, we were hands-on! My goal is to use these new materials to keep my students engaged and excited about learning while promoting 21st-century critical thinking skills, such as communication and collaboration. My students will be able to create and have a hands-on approach to learning. These materials will help my students find science and math both fun and interesting.
