Many of our students come from adverse backgrounds or have experienced some level of trauma in their young lives. While we can not control extraneous variables, it is our mission to equip our students to be successful in coping with life's challenges, as well as classroom success. With your help, we can do just that! Items such as social story Jenga or Uno can be a tool used to help students identify emotional and behavioral triggers and work toward a solution. Chair rubber bands will be used to assist students who struggle maintaining attentiveness by helping to bring self-awareness to their sensory needs.
