We are requesting a carpet, book bins and six soft seats. This reading space with the book bins will give my students the freedom to thoroughly embrace reading and learning phonics in our hands on activities throughout the day. Having a nice space to sit on when in our reading buddy groups or even when doing our writing activities gives my students the flexibility to move around and not just be confined to a single spot to work. My students would be appreciative for being given their own reading space that they can enjoy and utilize daily rather than being in their seats all day. The book bins would be great since our books have no space and the bins would be easier for them to have their books in a special space that they can have access to.
