Movement stimulates the brain and increases the chances of retaining what is learned. These materials will give my students that opportunity for movement throughout the classroom. They will provide them choices in seating and areas for movement that will not disrupt the learning of others. My students need wobble chairs, exercise balls, desk-er-cisers, and balance boards to activate their brains through movement and increase their learning. Little bodies need to move while learning. Having these movement materials will help our classroom break free from the "one size fits all" mentality. All children learn differently and when given the opportunity to move and make personal seating choices, they take ownership in their learning. Help us give these early learners the chance to grow and succeed in an environment that is fun and motivating!
