The books purchased for our class will help to expand students’ knowledge throughout history, science, the arts, and the world. Providing a wide variety of topics will peak the interests of all my students and will support our curriculum through science, history, mathematics, technology and the arts. Finding high interest books, of varying reading levels, can be a challenge. My goal is to provide interesting options right in our classroom to engage all readers. Once students find a topic that interests them, they become more proficient readers and motivated to learn.
