I have a Voluntary Pre-K classroom of twenty 4 year olds who are VERY active learners. All 20 of my students are at-risk for learning difficulties. Our school itself has a high poverty rate. Parents in our community worry about whether to buy gas to go to work or pay the light bill, not making sure their child has learning materials. My preschool students need to get their hands on quality learning materials to create those first learning pathways that lead to better readers, writers, scientists, mathematicians, and over-all academic achievers! Not only do they need to... they deserve it!
