Our school is a Title One school that has students from all different ethnicities and backgrounds. My students call everyone in our class their school family! They embrace the peace philosophies taught by Maria Montessori and embody the collaborative spirit empowered by our multiage classroom. They teach and help one another every day! It is also fascinating to watch them problem solve without adult involvement! They are always asking thought provoking questions that are not easily answered in a few sentences, which sets the perfect opportunity for research!
