What I have requested are seven microphones for the theatre department. The headsets are better for performance than the lapel microphones because they are easier to manage for the students. I want my students to be heard. I teach them all how to use their voices and project but in a room as large as our cafetorium, a little boost would be useful. These microphones and the headsets will give them authentic practice at stage production. They can focus on performing instead of holding a microphone or placing it on their costumes after a quick change. They can say the words confidently.
