One day while I was observing my students as they chose their workspaces, I realized the "one size fits all" seating I have in my classroom does not meet the needs of all students. The folding laptop table allows for four adjustable height and can be used as a lap desk, mid-size desk or used to stand while working at a table. The stand up two-sided desk allows for height differences. The soft chairs will comfort students while they snuggle in to get lost in literature. The stools will be versatile seating for those that do not feel comfortable seated on the floor because of size or dress. The large rug with bright colors will be for our gathering spot and give all students a soft, clean place to meet each morning where we begin our day with a morning meeting.
