In order to leave as much open floor space for 30 plus students I have moved file cabinets to our previous coat closet. But to make that work for us my students now need a safe and easily accessible place for their backpacks. Additionally, we need more storage for daily mail and work to get from me to the students and then home to parents. Communication is the key to any successful classroom. Our room is based on alternative seating and to move to alternative backpack storage seems like the perfect move for us! Loading it in the room and rolling it to the hall for the day frees up space for my students to focus on learning.
