Space is my classroom is at a premium I have 32 student desks and chairs in my classroom. Most class periods each chair is occupied. The chairs that I have are heavy and bulky and difficult to move around when students work with their peers or in groups. It takes a lot of valuable class time to move desks and chairs around the room and then get them back to their original spot before the end of the class period, because of this students don't work with their peers or in groups as much as I would like. I am asking for new flexible seating wobble stools to allow students to be able to work with their peers more easily and wiggle a bit in the classroom. These wobble stools are smaller, lighter, and much easier to move around and make group work much more possible in the classroom. These stools have been shown to improve student attention spans and improve posture. More and more research shows that kids need to move a bit and give themselves short brain breaks. These stools will allow students to move, fidget, and wobble without sacrificing valuable learning time. These stools will keep students trunks and legs active and increase blood flow to the brain. Plus they are a fun addition to the classroom! Students need structure in school but they also need to be able to move a bit and they certainly need to be able to work with their peers and in groups. These new stools will allow for easier group work and also help those students that need to wiggle a little bit in the classroom.
