These materials will allow students extended time on district purchased computer programs. The computer programs are research-based and we just do not have enough time for students to rotate through stations. With three more tablets, we would be able to have less stations to rotate to, meaning more time for students to utilize programs that our school district believes in and has invested in. Imagine mastering your Math Facts while going on an adventure with graphics that rival games my students play on XBox or PlayStation. All of these products are TEKS aligned and really help my students to exceed their expectations during the 4th grade Math. Since Hurricane Harvey, many of my students have lost homes and access to technology. Programs they used to be able to work from home must now be done in the classroom due to lack of resources at home.
