All of my students learn differently and require support when learning new information, especially with the push towards the Common Core Standards . I have found that technology can be a valuable tool in exposing my students to various programs, apps and strategies to help them become successful learners. I teach fifth grade in an underfunded school serving a low-income community in New York. The students in my classroom come from a diversity of cultures. They range in ability level from far below level to above grade level, and include students that have individualized education plans to meet their needs and provide them with a successful learning environment.
