The use of the Mindstorm EV3 Kit will allow for four additional students in the club every nine weeks. Building a robot and programming will help the students foster advanced academics in Reading, Math, Science, and Technology. The kits will also help them learn to work collaboratively with their peers to complete a final robot and perform. The club began in 2017 and will continue to be a required program for fourth-grade students who attend PCES. As of now we only have two kits, our school is purchasing three kits, and this project will help us reach our goal of having one additional kit. This will open the program up to 12 new students every nine weeks.
