My class will benefit from a variety of language, math, dramatic play, sensory, and science activities to enhance social skills including puzzles, baby clothes, kinetic sand, and marbles. These materials are developmentally appropriate for our play based classroom and will enhance language skills throughout the different centers in our classroom. They can pretend to be scientists with the science materials and lab coats as this will enhance their learning opportunities with our science curriculum. The additional materials for dramatic play will help the children role play, use vital communication and social skills that we are working on in the classroom. The math and language manipulatives, as well as games will help the children build their pre-academic learning skills thus creating a great foundation for a life long love of learning.
