I am a special day class preschool teacher and work with 3-5 year old children with ASD. The students live with global deficits, such as cognition, social skills, motor function and communication skills. Most of the children come in the school setting with various skill deficits and hopefully move onto a typical educational setting and "tools" to compensate for thier areas of need. The school is located in a low income neighborhood and is a title 1 school.
