I am a First Grade teacher and I absolutely LOVE my children!! My students come to me from a low income area and I want so much for them! The majority of the students attending the school are also African-American. The students that go to the school also live within approximately a 5 – 10 mile radius of the school. Many of the students in my class come from a single parent home. My school is a Title I and Reading First school. Because of math testing scores it is required that we also have an 90 min. math block.
