My kindergarteners are excited about learning! For many, this is their very first school experience. Many are also learning English. They live in a low income area, and oftentimes, their outside play time is limited due to the violence that surrounds them. We are an all day kindergarten, 24-26 students and one teacher. Throughout the year, we have a lot of students move which is hard to create and keep a sense of community. The kids are always so welcoming and flexible with. I'm constantly amazed by their heart, and their never ending kindness towards others. The progress they make in one school year is astounding.
