I have a wide range of students each year. Many of the students at our school are first generation Americans with parents who don't speak English. Many of them are not fluent yet, either. Last year I had at least 8 different cultures represented in my classroom alone! Each year I've had between 1 to 5 students on IEPs (individual education plans) We are a high poverty school with 65% qualifying for free or reduced lunch.
