I teach in a really country area. The students here are interested in hunting, fishing and working on their family farms. They are very good students and are really interested in learning. I have students that have a hard time reading. They are not up to par with their grade level. They are enrolled in a Reading 180 program at the school however, that is a work in progress. The students are trying to work hard in their other classes, but still struggle when they are faced with large amounts of words in other content areas other than reading.
