It is important for students to practice skills in a hands-on real-world approach especially with math. These games will definitely reinforce math concepts taught in the classroom. They will also support independence because students will check their work. Taking ownership of their learning is vital. I really want my students to have a solid math foundation and become fluent in numeracy. Math concepts build upon each other, so learning in a fun way takes that anxiety component out. When my students move on to 2nd grade, I want them to feel more than comfortable with their math competency; I want them to be Math Experts! I am asking for these workstation folder games and the ZINGO game to help my students excel. Thank you for reading my proposal and supporting education!
