Many of my students come to school with negative attitudes. They have to fight many obstacles coming from Chicago's west side. My students come to school with many worries on their mind. I know that by providing them resources and a positive environment, they will be able to focus on positive things instead of negative things. My students may lack material things but what they don't lack is the drive to succeed. My schools mission is to provide them with an academic foundation to earn a college degree.
