The students that I teach have had a different substitute teacher for the past two months until I was hired. I work with students who are struggling with the regular high school curriculum and might have to receive a modified high school diploma. I believe this is to lack of resources and individual attention. They are attending an underfunded Title I school that is always at the risk of closing. In our class room we have a few outdated computers, little on the walls (mind you, I have recently got hired and the pizazz is on it's way), with no technology for myself to use to present engaging lessons.
