These picture books will bring a smile to the faces of the students in pre-k through 2nd grade! These books have been selected by the South Carolina Association of School Librarians for the SC Picture Book Award nominee list. Students across the state read these books and vote for their favorite book! The students at MES love to read picture books by themselves and with parents, grandparents, and siblings. This is a wonderful time for our students to engage in reading with the support of family members. In February we will celebrate reading by having a book voting party! The students must read 5 books from the nominated book list to attend the party.
