My students really enjoy their time in the school Science lab, especially since it is limited to an hour per week. These extra lab materials (ex. light bulbs) will make a difference in my students' learning in that when we complete a physical science lab inquiry at school, they can continue exploring at home with their own "mini" set of materials . We also need the infrared thermometer to explore our environment in and out of the Science lab (i.e., our food forest). We have a limited supply of light bulbs for students to take home but they absolutely LOVE the inquiry-based activity of creating complete and incomplete circuits!
