My students need books that are on their Independent Reading levels to help them become better readers. Our classroom library does not have enough Level A books for everyone to practice with. Most of my students are on Level A. Level A books are at the beginning of leveled readers. It is imperative that students have books on their levels in order to be supported in comprehension, gaining fluency and having strong picture support. When students read in the appropriate reading level it increases their comprehension, fluency and love of reading. My students are just beginning to read and need books that have a lot of sight words, picture support and patterns. Your donation will help get these books into my students little hands and allow a new generation of readers to enjoy and fall in love with reading a good book.
