My students love learning about the History of California, but lack the literature to take them beyond the average and lack-luster text book pages. Our class needs this amazing section of books and novels to make the history of California jump off the page and come alive. The texts will help us cover stories of westward expansion, the exciting events of the California Gold Rush and the impact of settlement on the Native American's of California. With these texts, we can bring the exciting history of our state to the forefront; learning with inspiring texts and engaging stories of the past.
