Covid has made us keep hands off, but my kiddos with special needs still need hands-on learning. The more materials I have, the more this can happen. The Fire tablets will be used to give students access to online activities without having to use a mouse. Many activities are drag and drop, and this can be challenging for students with special needs. These hands-on learning materials will provide my students with multi-sensory opportunities to manipulate sounds and numbers in a new and exciting way. Just like adults, the kiddos are stressed. They are still adjusting to being back in school, and they need materials that will motivate them to learn.
