My students enter my classroom daily ready to learn and I want to give them an open and comfortable environment to learn in. The traditional classroom is no longer an option for today's students. They have lots of energy and need help focusing that energy to better learn. By providing flexible seating in my classroom with wiggle stools, yoga balance balls, lap desks, and bean bags I am able to grab the children's attention and keep it. These flexible seating options allow the children to move around the classroom and be engaged while feeling they have some control of their learning environment.
