Please help me give my students excellent books to read! They range from emerging to advanced readers, and the classroom library needs a major overhaul. Out with the old, torn, stained, and unfamiliar and in with the new, diverse, exciting, and beautiful books that all children get excited to open, read and share stories about. I want to expand the classroom book selection to include equity, inclusion, and antiracism so that students have books relevant to today's current issues and can have access to during distance learning. These kiddos haven't had a book from school in their hands since last year! It is past time to get them excited about stories and encourage them to read incredible stories.
