These materials will allow me to better teach my students about life science. I teach all of these things each year but desperately need hands on materials for my students to better understand these concepts. By providing my students with new hands-on materials, they will be able to explore the amazing things that science has to offer! Each year we hatch chicks and I have to borrow an incubator from the county extension office. By having our own incubator, we will not have to wait for a turn and will be able to hatch chicks when we are ready each year. Science is a large part of the curriculum that I teach to my students. Each year, I do a unit on the human body and having the skeleton model and other human body materials would greatly enhance student learning.
