My name is Melanie Leonard and I am a school counselor at Harold Keller elementary school. I am asking for support and and help to fund my project to get therapeutic games, art supplies and play therapy toys. This project getting funded would mean the world to me as well as my students. These items will provide a safe place for my students to come and express themselves in a variety of ways in order to increase their self esteem, gain coping skills and learn a variety of other techniques to help them with emotional and medical concerns. My students are incredible kids who touch my heart daily by making me laugh, cry and even sometimes break my heart. I love these kids and would not trade them for anything in the world. I love what I do and these supplies would allow me to be more effective and serve individual students needs better. Thank you so much for any contributions you can make to help make this project happen
