All of the materials that are needed are to help my students become better learners and scientists. It is extremely difficult to do this without the proper materials. We lack some of the basic necessities needed to complete science experiment, such as beakers, graduated cylinders, hand lens, and bar magnets. The entire school has to share these materials which makes it hard for everyone to be working on science experiments at the same time. The materials will benefit everyone in the school. I love to connect literature with science. Even though my students are older, they still love to be read to. Literature is a great way for students to make connections with the real world. The non-fiction readers will help teachers engage their students in the various subjects within science.
