I teach Kindergarteners at an elementary school in Michigan. My students are so excited to learn and be at school! They are active little people who love to move! They also have difficulty understanding how their bodies fit into space. We spend about 30 minutes of our 3 hour day learning on the floor for calendar, story, writing and reading lessons, character development, etc. I would like to purchase a rug for our floor time instruction. This will promote the student's learning by keeping them seated in a defined area, so they can focus on the lesson.
