My reading nook already has a space in my room, right in a nice corner of my classroom. By getting new books, I will be able to further engage my students in fun new reading materials instead of the old, sometimes ripped, and outdated books that take over my small library now. A new revolving book storage unit will help me organize my reading materials in a way that is accessible for the students and will free up space so more students can enjoy the nook! Creating a comfortable reading environment is a top priority in my room and is something that I feel like is lacking now; by getting soft pillows, a canopy, and new books and storage, my room will be totally transformed for my students!
